A beautiful open green space surrounded by woodland near Pensford, Bristol. Ideal for events looking to embrace the great outdoors with a touch of the wilderness.
The site nestles in a fold of the soft Avon country side covering 30 acres, almost surrounded by woodland. There is a large camping area, screened from the road by rising ground and a stream running through a gully, offering a perfect area ideal for bivouacking.
Facilities include a gravel roadway leading to a car-park, next to which are the toilet blocks. Water points are located around the site. As well as camping areas, a modern barn is available for indoor activities.
ACF Events can organise private, corporate and charity events at this site with easy access to Bristol, Bath, Wells and the Mendips.
The Chelwood site borders the A368, 1/2 km from Chelwood village, and is easily reached via the M4/M5/M32, being no more than 30 minutes away from junction 18/19.
