mental health - brain picture

Mental health and wellbeing at work.

Our qualified facilitator will lead your group and give an interesting insight into what mental-health and wellbeing is, and isn't. This workshop will give attendees an understanding about the science of the brain, the purpose of feelings, emotions and how they affect us both in the workplace and at home. We will also explore what role the imagination plays, how reality and the brain work and what the relationship between past, present and future is. The scientific approach will address the things that can affect us all from time to time, regularly or on a daily basis both at home and at work.

After learning the theory and gaining new understandings, the remainder of the session will provide direct and practical help by teaching skills and tools needed to overcome many of life's stresses.

This is all done "content free" where there is no need for any guests to share any personal or difficult information". If required, the coach can be available for private time after the workshop to speak to attendees individually.

EmotionsHow will your company benefit from a mental wellbeing workshop?

By educating employees about mental health, they feel they have a better and clearer understanding about themselves. The mystery of what "mental-health" is becomes clear and any confusion melted away.

Employees that are knowledgeable about the tools and ways they can enable themselves to feel better at work and at home, are happier and more productive people. Individuals will be able to take away practical skills that they have learnt, along with the science behind how the brain works giving them a platform to help themselves going forward.

Additionally they will go home with the certain knowledge that they can contact a coach (a real person) to find answers and get support in order to improve their mental wellbeing should they feel the need to.

“60 per cent of employees say they’d feel more motivated and more likely to recommend their organisation as a good place to work if their employer took action to support mental wellbeing” – Mind 2019
