Any personal information provided or to be gathered at acfteambuilding.co.uk is controlled by ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd, Aldwick Estate, Redhill, Bristol BS40 5AL.
What information do we collect? How do we use it?
When you make an enquiry or request information, we need to know your name, phone number and email address. This allows us to process and fulfil your request and respond to you in an appropriate manner.
When you make a booking for an event, we need to know your name, address, email address, client name and delivery address. This allows us to process and fulfil your event booking, and to contact you as and when required with queries and updates about the event.
When you book an experience, we need you know your name, address, email address and a telephone number so that we can contact you if there are any last-minute changes to your experience.
This information will be logged onto our customer management system which is held on a secure server and will only be used by ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd to contact you with regards to your enquiry, booking or event.
How does ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd protect customer information?
When you purchase a voucher, book an experience or make an enquiry, we use a secure server. Furthermore, as required by The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), strict security procedures are followed in the storage and disclosure of any information which you have given, to prevent unauthorised access.
Back up of information
Information held by ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd is on a secure server at Aldwick Estate. Information is backed up twice daily to a separate NAS drive held on site.
Will ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We only use it for our own procedures in order to produce a booking, events, or for email marketing where you have ‘opted in’.
ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd sometimes employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mails, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments and providing customer services. Such companies and individuals will have only access to personal information needed to perform these functions. They may not use it for any other purposes and are required to process the data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
Customers who submit reviews to us via any feedback pages or review pages online must confirm that they have written their reviews based on their own opinions and experiences and that the information contained in their reviews are factual. By submitting a review, customers grant us permission to publish it online, via print media or use in our brochures and, if necessary, edit it for typos.
ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd use a third party called Survey Monkey to request feedback after an event. When using this feedback method respondents are able to confirm if they are happy or not happy for us to use their feedback in marketing material.
When paying for a service or purchasing a voucher online ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd do not store your card details. Payment is handled by PayPal and the transaction is secured with SSL encryption.
If a payment is taken over the phone ACF Teambuilding and Events will ask you for your card details in order to make the transaction. These card details are never stored. Information regarding a transaction for invoice purposes will be held securely for up to 7 years.
Customers may ‘opt in’ to receive the ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd newsletter and other email marketing. We send mailings via a third party called Mailchimp. You will have the ability to ‘opt out’ at any time by contacting ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd or unsubscribing when you receive a newsletter.
Who has access to your information?
Information held about our customers and their enquiries is only accessible by ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd office staff. Computers are locked with individual passwords and customer databases are only accessible with unique usernames and passwords. ACF operate a clear desk policy and will never store financial information on databases or on desks. Any financial information that is taken during a payment process e.g. cardholder receipts, will be immediately shredded, or sent to the customer if they have requested it.
Information held on our email marketing mailing list (names, email addresses and sometimes phone numbers) are accessible to you, and you may change your preferences and / or details at any time via a link on our newsletters or by contact ACF Teambuilding and Events Ltd directly.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make ordering and requesting information at acfteambuilding.co.uk possible. We do not sell trade or rent your personal information to others.
