Company Corporate Fun Days - ACF Teambuilding

Company fun days are designed to say thank you to all of your companys' employees and their families. They create a fun atmosphere in which to share experiences and get to know one another outside the office.

ACF Company Fun Days entertain staff, families and friends with a huge variety of activities from amazing arena attractions including daring motorcycle acts to It’s A Knockout competitions. Each day is planned according to your specifications and the demographics of the attendees.

Designing, implementing and organising Company Fun Days is one of our favourite tasks! We have experience arranging events from 50 to 3500 people, using well established contacts to ensure that events are professionally run.

We recommend a videographer/photographer to record the great time that will had by all. It’s a day which will enhance your company’s profile and be talked about and remembered for a long time.

TESTIMONIAL:  I can only commend the fantastic, engaging and enthusiastic staff who run the events. Their fun approach made the day so enjoyable. Imperial Tobacco

ARE YOU Planning a corporate fun day?

READ OUR TOP TIPS! .......

Here at ACF Teambuilding & Events we have organised loads of company fun days and have over 25 years of experience in doing so! We've planned corporate events for groups of 200 - 6000 people and we think we're pretty good at it.

Also......we like sharing! So we thought we would share our top 5 tips for planning a successful company fun day, with you.

Corporate Fun Day

5 things to remember when arranging a company fun day

1. BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE
Key dates (mainly weekends in June / July) get booked up fast! Book well in advance to ensure availability for your preferred dates, venue and other event essentials such as toilet facilities and caterers. Also...take note of what other events will be taking place at the same time in the area. No one wants to contend with Glastonbury traffic!

2. KNOW THE DEMOGRAPHICS OF YOUR GUESTS
Sounds obvious, but make sure your corporate fun day attractions are appropriate for the guests attending. Work out how many children and teenagers might be attending in order to book the best activities for them. Many activities have height and weight limits, so get to know your audience and any restrictions on your chosen activities, in order to avoid disappointed guests.

3. INFRASTRUCTURE
Potentially, this is the most important bit. It's the behind the scenes stuff that guests don't really notice, but if it's not right then there could be trouble ahead. There is always more electricity and water required than you think! Toilets, security, boundaries, sheltered areas, waste facilities, access to power and water are all important considerations. A lot of this will depend on the venue booked and we often start with a blank field where we create everything from scratch. If you don't get the infrastructure nailed, then you could end up with guests getting lost and a bad flow to the event. No pressure!

4. WET WEATHER PLANS
Plan for all types of weather...... wind, scorching sun or rain. Events can become a complete wash out if the right contingencies aren't put in place. If there's a heatwave on the cards you'll want to make sure there's extra shade provided for both guests and staff. Be prepared to make some last minute amendments to your company fun day  arrangements to suit the weather too. We can help you with a contingency plan depending on all weather types.

5. FOOD FOR THOUGHT
There's nothing worse than 'hangry' (angry / hungry) guests. These days guests require more than just a BBQ or a burger van. Dietary needs including religious requirements, preferences & food intolerances are all important considerations for a modern event, as well as making sure you provide a slick and speedy service. It's always better to plan for more food than not have enough and it's of upmost importance book a caterer that has the appropriate food hygiene certificates.

6. SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY
This should probably be number 1! Make sure your suppliers have appropriate insurances and are experienced in their fields (like us ????). Good suppliers should always be able to provide you with a public liability certificate and a risk assessment for the service they are providing. We also always recommend having at least one 1st aid response vehicle on site for events of this type.
