Jousting on chariots! Competitive team fun
Calling all knights in shining armour! In early medieval times, jousting was the centrepeice of a tournament where riders on horseback would try to unseat their opponent. Obviously today this kind of entertainment would be a health and safety 'no no', so we've come up with our own fun team game based on the famous skill of jousting.
Take your place on your chariot and pick up the lance. Then your'e off...with the pulling power of your team mates. You will be aiming for the Ring Quintain (target) to score points whilst your opponents are doing the same on the opposite side. Concentration, skill, balance and above all....communication with your team mates is key for success. The beam holds the ring securely in place but will allow the ring to pull free when taken with a lance. The aim is to get more rings than your opponents in the timed session.
This fun adaptation of the tradition of jousting can be incorporated into a company fun day, a team building day or just as a bit of fun out of the office. Or for a complete day of Medieval Madness, why not add Archery and Trebuchets for extra fun.
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say a big thank you. We had a really good time, and it was great to have a go at some of the activities. We particularly liked the 2 wheeled scooter things (can't remember the name of them, but they were loads of fun!!) and the tank driving was brilliant!
