Covid 19 Statement Updated 10th September 2020
We at ACF Teambuilding and Events are committed to keeping all of our staff and guests safe during this time and have put measures in place to ensure that we are keeping to all the government laws and guidelines. We are of course monitoring the situation daily and will always respond to all government advice relating to precautions.
Following the Announcement on Tuesday 8th September
Restrictions apply indoors and outdoors, including in private homes and hospitality settings like the pub. There will be a limited number of exemptions.
Work settings and weddings and funerals.....
Education and work settings are unaffected. Organised team sports will still be able to proceed, as will weddings & funerals up to 30.
COVID Secure venues – tourism and hospitality.....
COVID-19 Secure venues, such as places of worship, restaurants and hospitality venues, can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups. This rule will not apply to individual households or support bubbles of more than 6 who will still be able to gather together.
Therefore we are still able offer outdoor events that take place in venues that comply with the Covid19 regulations. Many of our activities we offer naturally enable social distancing such as Archery, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Axe Throwing, Air Rifle, Laser Clay Shooting. We have also put in place safety measures to ensure we can deliver garden fetes (funfair stalls, giant games etc) and 'Its a Knockout' style games with lots of soap and water. With the exception of schools all our team sports/activities will comprise of a maximum of 5 in a team which could be made up of a bigger group. We have also been awarded the "We're Good To Go" certificate which means all ACF staff on events will have be instructed and trained to comply with the latest Government Guidelines with regards the use of protective equipement and social distancing. For larger groups we can offer a wide range of virtual on-line experinces and workshops. From 1 October, it is expected that events of all types (e.g. trade shows, consumer shows, exhibitions and conferences) will be allowed at a capacity allowing for compliance with social distancing of 2m, or 1m with mitigation). This is currently under review and will be subject to the latest public health advice and the success of a number of pilot events.
