The team building exercise where you go back to basics!!

Shelter and fire making in bushcraft skills

Back to basics! The Survivor team building challenge will see your team taken to a special location within the woodland or countryside at your chosen venue and here your briefing will begin. This will involve being taught basic survival techniques that will come in handy next time you’re trapped on a desert island or part of a zombie apocalypse.

Once you have learned the basics, your team will be sent into the woods, to complete a series of survival based challenges within a certain time limit. There is no room for carrying passengers on this task as every member of the team will need to pull their weight if the challenges are to be completed within the time allowed.

Each team will need to demonstrate to their instructor how they could tap into their inner ‘Bear Grylls’ and survive in the woods for a week. Teams are scored on how well they completed the tasks and their overall team performance.

Example challenges include:

  • Trap setting
  • Shelter building
  • Foraging
  • Water sourcing
  • Fire lighting

Our Survivor team building event is great for team work whilst embracing the great outdoors. By taking team members out of their comfort zone and back to nature, participants often discover talents within themselves and their colleagues they never knew existed!

This activity usually lasts between 60 – 90 minutes, but for a longer session you can combine it with other wild activities such as Archery and Axe Throwing.

Or, how about a full day of forest fun with our ‘Get Me Outta Here’ event!

In line with our sustainability policy, we leave nothing behind except footprints and use sustainable supplies whenever possible.

For more information regarding the choice of challenges and tailoring the event to your team building requirements, call our friendly team on 01934 862305 for a no obligation chat!
