Find out what makes your team tick!

Different roles in a business

Your personality is derived from a particular pattern of behaviour and thinking.  Prevailing across time and different situations, it’s our personality that differentiates one person from another. It’s made up of many different elements, some innate, some learned.

This complex system of attributes, behavioural temperament, emotions and mental energies is impossible to fully comprehend, let alone assess and quantify. Therefore the MiRo system looks at what can be observed, such as our habitual behaviours.

These behaviours are determined by how we unconsciously perceive our environment and ourselves in relation to that environment. By measuring behaviour, psychologists and psychotherapists such as William Marston and Carl Jung have identified four main Behavioural Modes that are available to all of us. These behavioural modes are Driving, Energising, Organising and Analysing. Each of us accesses these different modes according to our own preferences.

By recognising our own behaviour preferences and those displayed in others, we can help create a team dynamic where everyone plays to their strengths; and because members of the team understand the motivations of their colleagues, conflict within a team is kept to a minimum.

Here at ACF Events, we have a number of Team Development Facilitators who use MiRo psychometric assessments as a tool when discussing teams and their dynamics. The insights into how people react with a team and how those interactions can be tweaked for the benefit of the whole team are invaluable.

If you’re interested in learning more about how MiRo Psychometrics can be used to improve your team dynamics, we would be happy to provide you with a free assessment. To see if you qualify please contact our friendly team on 01934 862305 for more details.

“A wonderful day. I never expected to receive such an excellent gift. I will be reading through the MiRo information and hopefully take part again in the near future. Thank you”

"The exercises were fun and well received by the whole group and though we wanted to be collaborative a little competitiveness did sneak in! It was interesting to observe the different characters in the team and how they behave in the work environment against these activities. ( Some surprises) The medals went down a treat and were worn with pride"
