The Crystal Challenge is one of our most popular team building events, inspired by the excitement of classic crystal maze style challenges. Teams compete across a series of mental, physical, skill and logic based games, collecting valuable Time Crystals before facing the ultimate test inside the iconic Crystal Dome.

How The Crystal Challenge Works?

1. Teams Formation

Your group is split into competing teams of roughly equal size.

These teams can be pre determined by the yourselves or divided at random on the day by our event facilitators.





2. Complete The Challenge Zones

Teams then rotate through a series of themed zones where you will take on timed challenges. Each one requiring communication and team work.

Mental: logic puzzles, cryptic clues, lateral thinking.
Physical: agility, coordination & communication.
Skill: precision tasks that reward patience & dexterity
Mystery: wildcards that keep everyone on their toes

3. Collect Time Crystals

Every challenge you complete successfully earns your team valuable ‘time crystals’.

The more you collect, the more time you’ll have in the grand finale inside the Crystal Dome!

4. The Crystal Dome Finale

In the final showdown, teams will enter the inflatable dome.

Wait for the announcement… ‘Start the fans please!’

Then it’s a frantic race against the clock to grab as many gold tokens as possible.

FAQ’s

The Crystal Challenge is fully mobile. ACF Events will bring all the equipment — including the Crystal Dome, to your chosen venue.

The event can be delivered:

  • Indoors
  • Outdoors
  • At conference venues
  • At hotels
  • At company offices
  • At team away day locations across the UK

We will require access to power for the dome and enough space to set up the team building activities. Usually a flat garden or green area outside, or a large function space inside is ideal. However we can also set up the challenges across multiple indoor breakout rooms. It is best to discuss the space required with our team before you book a venue, or alternatively, we can source a venue for you.

The Crystal Challenge is a Crystal Maze-inspired team building activity where teams compete across various zones to comoplete mental, physical, skill and mystery challenges. Completing the challenges allows the teams to earn ‘time crystals’. Teams with the most time crystals will have the chance to go inside the Crystal Dome to grab as many gold tokens as possible. 

The Crystal Challenge is designed for groups of 16 to 120 people, divided into equal teams. However ACF Events can scale and adapt the format to suit your group size. 

The Crystal Challenge includes mental, physical, skill and logical tasks, which means there is something for everyone, regardless of age, capabilities or experience.

Our Crystal Challenge events typically run for 2 to 3 hours, though the format can be adapted to fit your schedule — from a 60-minute conference break to a full day competitive event.
